Top 10 Sexiest Rock Stars of All Time
74Let's face it... singing is the one profession where you don't have to be even remotely good looking to get chicks. Having said that, the men in this list just so happen to be blessed with both angelic voices and sex appeal.
Now, let me clarify that "sex appeal" doesn't necessarily mean traditionally good looking per se (although some certainly are), but more so, they possess a certain air of sexuality that makes them desirable to the opposite sex.
I attempted to compile this list in chronological order by decade, so we'll start with the 60's first...
1. Jim Morrison
There's something about Jim Morrison that just eludes danger. He's the epitome of the rock and roll bad boy - the guy you're parents hated, which made you love him even more. Danger = forbidden. Forbidden = SEXY.
2. Steven Tyler
Moving onto the 70's is one of my favorites... Mr. Steven Tyler. Yeah yeah, I know... many people think he resembles an old woman... his mouth is too big... yada yada. I happen to think he's one of the sexiest rock stars ever. You have to admit... the man has style. And confidence. And some serious moves. To be able to do a backflip in your 60's is pretty bad-ass.
3. Jon Bon Jovi
Ladies and gents, we have now arrived in the '80's. And although the 80's was a decade of slim pickins when it came to sexy rock stars (as I wouldn't exactly define hair metal as sexy), there was one diamond in the rough: Jon Bon Jovi. Those eyes... that face... that voice... yes, please.
4. Kurt Cobain
Onto the glorious, yet painful decade of the 90's, is Kurt Cobain. It pains my heart every time I look at that sad, angelic face. He is undoubtedly the most beautiful man I've ever laid eyes on.
5. Chris Cornell
Believe me, if I were going in order of rock star hotness (as opposed to chronological order), Chris Cornell would've been #1. Ask any woman who she thinks is the hottest rock star, and at least 90% will respond, "Chris Cornell."
6. Dave Navarro
Yeah, so technically he's not a singer, but hey, guitarists need love too. And I would give that love to Dave Navarro. All of it. Eat your heart out, Carmen Electra.
7. Jared Leto
Who would've thought Jordan Catalano would've become a rock star? Not me. But mmm... I'll take it.
8. Jeff Buckley
Another beautiful rock star who was taken from us too soon. Unfortunately, there's still a lot of people out there who are unaware of Jeff Buckley's existence. He could dominate this list simply from the soft, soothing sex appeal of his voice, nevermind the fact that he had the looks to match.
9. Jakob Dylan
Personally, I think his music sucks, but my God, Jakob Dylan is like walking sex. Look at those baby blues. I have no words.
10. Brandon Boyd
And as we move into the 2000's, I'll close out this list with Incubus front man, Brandon Boyd. There's not really much to say about Brandon except that he always has his shirt off, and it's always awesome.
Honorable Mentions:
...
Joey Barnes...
Joey Barnes...
aaanndd... Joey Barnes!
Now, I realize that most of you have absolutely no clue who this guy is... but just so you know, he's the drummer for Daughtry. And the most impeccably gorgeous man ever. I just want to frame that little face and hang it on my mantle. I stalk the hell out of this guy on his MySpace page and I don't even feel bad about it.

Freddy Mercury as well.
I thought maybe I was a little different, generation speaking, when I saw the first few on your list. Then you mentioned Jared Leto...YES! I love his music and his acting...he does not get the credit he deserves.
Is Adam Levine more of a pop star than a rock star? Cool list btw.
Awesome.. this is a great, hot list! My personal favorite on this list is # 6- Dave Navarro! I wish he would get back in the public eye. Voted up!
I'm set to read this later (thank God for bookmarks), but just by the first picture I can say that, definitely, Jim Morrison was the most beautiful man (rock star or not) ever to have existed, hands down! :) ...
He was an American Adonis. R.I.P. Jim : '(
Okay, I've read it, and I'm officially in a very, very happy state of mind. Total halcyon fit. :)
I agree with all of these, but another honorable mention might be Tyson Ritter, frontman of the All-American Rejects. Not sure if you could count him as a rock star, but he is Gor-geous, although at times a wee bit skinny. Biggest blue eyes ever :) Tee-hee. Thank you for a good bit of enjoyment :) voted up, awesome, and beautiful. Because, by golly, these men are beautiful. LOL.
That's awesome,... I hope to see it someday myself. I was thinking, another incredibly charismatic rock star was Elvis, with that bad-boy sneer of his. Although, technically, he was a rock and roll star. I so enjoyed this, by the way. :)
Sorry, that came out as anonymous, but it was me : /
Sorry, where is David Gilmour: THE BEST of best
Where's Enrique Iglesias ? very good looking bloke who gets all the very hot chicks....lucky person.

I agree with Brandon Boyd, and Jeff Buckley. I'd also like to add Billy Idol (when he was younger.) Eh,the guy from Daughtry does nothing for me.
